Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) and the Idaho Department of Commerce seek public input regarding the 2022 Annual Action Plan for Idaho’s federally funded affordable housing and community development programs.

For the 2022 CDBG allocation, the Idaho Department of Commerce will be requesting from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development a voluntary grant reduction (VGR) in the amount of $193,183. This request is due to a prior CDBG funded project not meeting a national objective.


The 30-day public comment period is January 31, 2022, through March 1, 2022.

A virtual Public Hearing is scheduled on February 16th, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. MT.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive oral and written comments regarding the annual action plan.
