Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism (ICORT)

The Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism (ICORT) is an exceptional opportunity to learn and network with other recreation and tourism professionals. The conference is held annually in October at different locations throughout the state. 

ICORT 2026 will take place October 19-21, 2026 at the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID.

The Idaho Travel Council Tourism Marketing Awards recognize ITC grantees for their outstanding work in successfully promoting their region or destination.

The Travel With Care Award will honor a communitiy or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to communicating and advancing the importance of Traveling With Care throughout Idaho.

There are three Marketing Awards categories available to enter.
• Best Overall Campaign ($50,000 budget or higher)
• Best Overall Campaign (Less than $50,000 budget)
• Judge’s Choice

The entry form is available on the home page of the ITC Grantee Portal — click on “Ad and Award Forms” in the black footer. There is no cost to enter and no need to log in or to have a grant portal account. Winners will be announced the evening of Tuesday, October 20 during ICORT.



Travel With Care Champion Award – New for 2026!
The Travel With Care Champion Award recognizes a community organization, business, or destination that puts the values of Visit Idaho’s Travel With Care program in action: preserving Idaho’s beautiful and one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces, helping visitors and residents make thoughtful choices that help keep everyone safe, and fostering a welcoming and friendly environment throughout the state. There is no cost to enter. Both grantees and non-grantee businesses or organizations are welcome to submit.

The award recipient will be announced the evening of Tuesday, October 20 during ICORT.


2026 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Each year during ICORT, an individual who has made significant contributions to developing, managing, or conserving Idaho’s recreation resources; or developing, managing, or promoting tourism in Idaho is recognized with the Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Submit nominations for the 2026 Governor’s Lifetime Achievement Award here. Nominations are due by September 4, 2026.

The recipient will be announced the evening of Tuesday, October 20th during ICORT.
