Trade Mission to Guadalajara, Mexico

Idaho Commerce is recruiting qualified businesses for a trade mission to Guadalajara, Mexico January 25-29, 2027.  

Guadalajara, in the state of Jalisco, is known as the “Silicon Valley of Mexico” — the region concentrates roughly 70% of Mexico’s semiconductor industry, anchored by a 50-year history in electronics manufacturing.

As global manufacturers diversify their supply chains, Jalisco is drawing new investment in AI hardware, automotive electronics, and semiconductor packaging. Idaho Commerce is coordinating this mission with the U.S. Commercial Service’s Guadalajara office and in-market trade specialists to ensure meetings are well-matched, well-prepared, and worth the trip.

COST & DATES:

  • Mission dates: January 25-29, 2027
  • Participation fee: $1,500 (1st participant) +$150 each additional attendee
  • Estimated total per person: ~$3,300 (including airfare, hotel, meals, fee)
