Idaho Economic Advisory Council Announces March Meeting

BOISE, Idaho (March 12, 2021) — The Idaho Economic Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, March 25th at 2:00 p.m. (MST) to review two Tax Reimbursement Incentives. The council will also hear an update from the Attorney General’s office regarding open meeting laws, a brief update from the Governor’s office and an annual update on tourism in Idaho.

The meeting will be held virtually by desktop or phone. The public is encouraged to participate remotely. The meeting will be held in the East Conference room in the JR Williams Building at 700 W. State Street Boise, Idaho 83702. Due to limited seating capacity and adherence to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited in-person seating available to the public.

The Idaho Economic Advisory Council advises the Governor and Idaho Commerce on goals and objectives that further economic development within the state. The council makes recommendations to the Governor on applications for the Tax Reimbursement Incentive (TRI), block grant funding and reviews industrial revenue bond allocations. Additionally, council members advise their regions on economic development opportunities and represent their interests to state government.
