Idaho Economic Advisory Council Announces April Meeting

BOISE, Idaho (April 16, 2021) — The Idaho Economic Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, April 22nd at 1:00 p.m. (MST) to review Community Development Block grant applications, Rural Community Investment Fund grant applications, CARES/CDBG applications and two Tax Reimbursement Incentive applications.  There will also be a discussion on Tax Reimbursement Incentive average county wages.

The meeting will be held virtually by desktop or phone. The public is encouraged to participate remotely. The meeting will be held in the East Conference room in the JR Williams Building at 700 W. State Street Boise, Idaho 83702. Due to limited seating capacity and adherence to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited in-person seating available to the public.

The Idaho Economic Advisory Council advises the Governor and Idaho Commerce on goals and objectives that further economic development within the state. The council makes recommendations to the Governor on applications for the Tax Reimbursement Incentive (TRI), block grant funding and reviews industrial revenue bond allocations. Additionally, council members advise their regions on economic development opportunities and represent their interests to state government.
