Draft 2020-2024 Five-Year Consolidated Plan for Idaho’s
Federal Affordable Housing and Community Development Programs
Descriptive Summary: As required, IHFA and the IDC drafted a Five-Year (Program Years 2020-2024) Consolidated Plan for Idaho’s HUD-funded affordable housing and community development programs: The Emergency Solutions Grant, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, National Housing Trust Fund, and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The draft will be available during the comment period on IHFA and IDC websites at http://www.idahohousing.com/ihfa/grant-programs/plans-and-reports.aspx and http://commerce.idaho.gov/communities/community-grants/community-development-block-grant-cdbg/consolidated-planning-documents
30-Day Comment Period: Following the 2017 Public Participation Plan for Idaho’s Federal Affordable Housing and Community Development Programs, one 30-day comment period is required prior to submitting the plan to HUD for approval. The comment period is March 3rd, 2020-April 1st, 2020. Written comments can be submitted in person, by mail, fax, and email. Submit written comments to:

One Public Hearing will be held on March 25, 2020 from 3:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST at Park Plaza, 565 West Myrtle, 1st Floor Conference Room, Boise 83707, Idaho. The location is handicap accessible. Anyone may submit a written comment at this hearing. Written comments carry the same weight as oral testimony. IHFA will consider a request for reasonable accommodation to attend the public hearing from persons with a physical, visual, and hearing impairment(s).
Alternative formats and language assistance can be requested.
