IGEM Council Announces March 11 Meeting

BOISE, ID—March 4, 2015 —The Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. The IGEM Council meeting will be held at Trailhead, Boise’s newest collaborative hub, located at 500 S. 8th Street Boise, ID 83702.

The meeting will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will include an introduction of new members, a report from the IGEM Investments Subcommittee, and council review of submitted applications for IGEM funding.

This IGEM meeting is open to the public. There will be an opportunity for public testimony toward the end of the meeting.

The IGEM Council oversees the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission Grant Fund, which includes $950,000 in appropriated funds by the Idaho State Legislature. IGEM funds research between university and industry partnerships geared toward commercialization initiatives. The IGEM Council’s fiscal stewardship and strategic direction, advances IGEM’s overall intended goal of economic prosperity through investments in technological advancements and innovation.
