| The Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council Announces February Meeting |
| BOISE, Idaho— Friday, January 26, 2018—The Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council will meet on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Sawtooth Conference Room at Idaho Commerce (700 West State Street, Boise). During this meeting, the IGEM Council will consider a No Cost Extension request on a previously awarded IGEM grant, discuss the IGEM Investment Subcommittee membership, and consider an administrative recommendation by Idaho Commerce.
View full agenda here. The IGEM Council oversees the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission Grant Fund, which includes $950,000 in appropriated funds by the Idaho State Legislature. IGEM funds research between university and industry partnerships geared toward commercialization initiatives. The IGEM Council’s fiscal stewardship and strategic direction, advances IGEM’s overall intended goal of economic prosperity through investments in technological advancements and innovation.
