Idaho Commerce to Participate in European Outdoor Trade Fair Along with Six Idaho Outdoor Recreation Companies

European Outdoor Trade Fair will take place in Friedrichshafen, Germany July 15-18, 2015

BOISE, Idaho—July 17, 2015—The Idaho Department of Commerce is pleased to announce the Idaho companies that will be exhibiting at the 22nd European Outdoor Trade Fair, July 15-18, 2015 in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

These Idaho companies, collaborating with Idaho Commerce, share the collective goal of promoting outdoor gear and recreation, advocating for the industry, and growing Idaho’s individual businesses. Below is a list of the companies exhibiting at the Idaho Pavilion (photos attached):

Balmshot: One of the most unique lip care products on the market today, BALMSHOT is a lip care product with SPF 15 and is designed to protect your lips from sunburn. BALMSHOT offers 4 unique varieties: Classic, Cool Mint, Pure Pink and Pink Camo. Best of all, BALMSHOT is the only lip balm that comes in a shotgun shell dispenser that prevents a “gooey mess” in your pants pocket or purse.

Kryptek: Kryptek provides combat proven features and designs in ultra-high-performance technical and tactical outdoor adventure apparel. Kryptek products are continuously tested and proven in austere combat environments and extreme backcountry conditions. Constant improvement and feedback is implemented into future designs with the end-goal of providing our products to outdoor adventurers who demand the utmost in quality and overall performance in their gear.

Lucky Bums: Lucky Bums provides high quality, multi-tasking, workhorse gear, apparel, and accessories designed for families to grow outside together.

Lynx: LYNX Hooks Systems created and patented the LYNX Hooks Interlocking Adjustable gear-strapping system to make it easier for outdoor enthusiasts to secure their outdoor gear. It saves time, it makes sure your stuff isn’t lost on the journey, and it’s designed to protect your eyes from the sort of injuries that cheap bungee cords are famous for.

Telic: Telic uses a revolutionary new material called Novalon™; a body-heat activated, waterproof, feather-light material that is durable, elastic, and pillow-soft.Contoured to cradle and support the arches of your feet, Telic is recommended by doctors and podiatrists worldwide. The Textured footbed has a gentle massaging effect and helps wick away moisture, while allowing a cooling air flow under the foot, perfect for recovering after a long day of activities.

Tenkara Rod Co.: The complexity and expense of fly fishing can be daunting to someone who just wants to throw a line and catch some fish. Tenkara gives people this opportunity. With a rod, a line, and a fly, you can go to a river, lake, or stream and catch some fish. We are based out of Driggs, Idaho and are proud of our location and surroundings. Within 1 hour of our headquarters we have some of the world’s best trout rivers and streams (but don’t tell anybody that). Idaho’s geography has inspired this hobby as well as the design and functionality of our rods. You don’t have to live somewhere like Driggs to enjoy Tenkara. You just need to be able to find some water to throw your line in!
