Did you know that HERC has $2 million in appropriated funds available to be awarded to Idaho university projects that are geared at driving innovation, economic development, and an enhanced quality of life in the State of Idaho?
Under the direction of the State Board of Education (governing body over Idaho’s higher education), HERC seeks to leverage Idaho’s unique research expertise and strengths residing within its university system, and serves as a catalyst and engine for the creation of new knowledge, technologies, products and industries. HERC promotes research activities that will have the greatest beneficial impact on the quality of education and the economy for the state.
