The City of Spirit Lake recently finished the construction of a 500,000-gallon water storage reservoir, funded in part by a CDBG grant.
The water project will create a large enough water reservoir to meet the existing and future needs of the city. The water may also be used in instances of fire to protect property and the well-being of those who call Spirit Lake home.
Additionally, it decreases the likelihood of possible water contamination and potential system damage.
