50 Years of CDBG: City of Payette

In 2011, Idaho Commerce awarded $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to the City of Payette to assist with the construction of the Rose Advocate’s Maple Tree House building.

Since the completion of the project, the Rose Advocate’s Maple Tree House has provided the residents of Payette, Washington, Adams and Valley counties a safe and secure facility for individuals and families dealing with difficulties such as domestic violence.

The mission of the Maple Tree House is to provide long-term support and services to families so they can go on living safe and successful lives.
