Idaho Commerce IGEM Council Announces November Meeting |
| BOISE, Idaho (November 23, 2018)—The Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council will meet Friday, November 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Sawtooth Conference room at Idaho Commerce, located at 700 W. State Street, Boise, Idaho 83702.
During this meeting, the IGEM Council will consider requests for a no cost extension on two previously awarded IGEM grants. Additionally, it will review one project for funding consideration. Some members will be attending via conference call. The IGEM Council oversees the IGEM Grant Fund, which includes $950,000 in appropriated funds by the Idaho State Legislature. IGEM funds research between university and industry partnerships geared toward commercialization initiatives. The IGEM Council’s fiscal stewardship and strategic direction advances IGEM’s overall intended goal of economic prosperity through investments in technological advancements and innovation.
