IEDA names Idaho Commerce’s Susie Davidson as Bob Potter Economic Development Professional of the Year |
BOISE, Idaho (November 7, 2018) — The Idaho Economic Development Association awarded Idaho Commerce Business Attraction Manager Susie Davidson with the organization’s prestigious 2018 Bob Potter Economic Development Professional of the Year award. The award is given annually to recognize Idaho’s premier economic development leader who is making a significant impact in their community and furthering the profession.
“Susie Davidson was chosen for this award to recognize the substantial impact she has had over 13 years bringing good companies and good paying jobs to Idaho,” said Dave Thornton, president of IEDA and community and customer relations coordinator with Idaho Power. “She has worked successfully with economic development leaders around the state, both in our urban and rural regions, to significantly impact Idaho’s economic success. Over her career, Susie has assisted hundreds of businesses who have generated millions in capital investment and created thousands of jobs across Idaho. She is well deserving of this prestigious award.” “I’m surprised and honored to be recognized by my economic development peers,” Davidson said. “This award reinforces my love for the state of Idaho. My customers are the best part of my job, hands down. They give me total fulfillment and allow me to experience new industries and businesses every day. I’ve also been lucky to work with a talented group of people who bring their strengths to the table to create a powerful team. I share this honor with each of them.” About the Idaho Economic Development Association: About the Bob Potter Award: |
