Flagship Food Group Wins Prestigious Walmart Innovation Award

The Meridian company specializes in branded and private label food production


Meridian, Idaho—Tuesday, February 24, 2015—Flagship Food Group’s North America division, headquartered in Meridian, Idaho, won the prestigious 2015 Innovation Award at Walmart’s annual vendor summit.  Flagship beat out big names like Keurig and Apple at this year’s summit, which took place in Orlando, Florida on February 4, 2015.

“We are honored and particularly humbled to receive an award of this caliber,” said Flagship North America CEO Gary Lim. “Delivering the goals for Walmart nationwide was a combined effort across the entire Flagship team.”

Flagship Food Group, which provides both branded and private label products to Walmart, was recognized as the top company across all Walmart Suppliers for Innovation.  Flagship won the award for their innovative, comprehensive program that includes new product development, managing relationships, and successful program execution.
