UI – Aquaculture Research Institute (ARI)

The Aquaculture Research Institute (ARI) focuses efforts on aquaculture research. Aquaculture research is a highly diverse activity involving food production, fisheries enhancement and fisheries stock restoration; touching a wide array of scientific disciplines. ARI facilitates inter-disciplinary research and education.

UI – Agribusiness Incubator

The University of Idaho Agribusiness Incubator supports the creation, expansion and retention of locally owned agricultural enterprises. Its staff and physical resources are focused on the promotion of value-added ventures and local food networks. The 22,000-square-foot facility includes 9,000 square feet of climate-controlled space for the emerging wineries of the Snake River Valley wine region.

UI – Aquaculture Research Institute (ARI) – Hagerman Station

The Aquaculture Research Institute (ARI) – Hagerman Station conducts research supported by funding from a wide range of sources including competitive grants from agencies, cooperative agreements and collaborative research with partners such as ARS and CRITFC, and with contracts with industry to conduct product testing and evaluation. UI – Twin Falls Research and Extension Center

The Twin Falls Research and Extension Center conducts research and extension projects related to agricultural economics, agricultural waste management, rangelands, weed science and minor use pesticide development.

UI – Parma Research and Extension Center

The Parma Research and Extension Center conducts research and extension programs related to production, storage and related problems of vegetable, forages, cereals, fruit, field, seed and specialty crop produced in southwest Idaho.

UI – Nancy M. Cummings Research, Extension and Education Center

The Nancy M. Cummings Research, Extension and Education Center is the University of Idaho’s primary cow-calf and forage research station. The center provides land and facilities for beef cattle research at the scale of a working ranch. The center also provides continuing education for those involved in the livestock industry and learning opportunities for University

UI – Palouse Research, Extension, and Education Center

The Palouse Research, Extension and Education Center consists of eight facilities in and around Moscow. These facilities include: Beef Center, Sheep Center, Dairy Center, Kambitsch Farm (focuses on field plot research), Parker Farm (pest management and crop production research), and Sixth Street Greenhouse (plant science research).

UI – Kimberly Research and Extension Center

The Kimberly Research and Extension Center conducts research and extension projects related to potatoes, sugar beets, dry beans, forages, small grains, entomology, weed science, irrigation and water resources.
