Idaho Department of Commerce Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council Announces September 30 Meeting
BOISE, Idaho—Wednesday, September 23, 2015— The Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) Council is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. The IGEM Council meeting will hold its meeting on the campus of Idaho State University – Meridian Health Science Center, located at 1311 E. Central Drive, Meridian, ID 83642.
During this meeting, the Council will review submitted applications for IGEM funding.
The IGEM Council oversees the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission Grant Fund, which includes $950,000 in appropriated funds by the Idaho State Legislature. IGEM funds research between university and industry partnerships geared toward commercialization initiatives. The IGEM Council’s fiscal stewardship and strategic direction, advances IGEM’s overall intended goal of economic prosperity through investments in technological advancements and innovation.
