Commerce hosted the JETRO (Japanese External Trade Organization) delegation and Japanese business owners this month.
The purpose of this mission was to show the flourishing semiconductor ecosystem currently growing in the Treasure Valley.
Idaho Commerce organized several business tours including Tokyo Electron, Micron and the JR Simplot Company processing plant, which showcased how the agriculture sector can leverage robotics to enhance productivity.
Thank you to the businesses that hosted the delegation on tours and our partners that helped make this a successful inbound mission: Boise Valley Economic Partnerships, City of Boise, City of Caldwell and Boise State University.
