Idaho Economic Advisory Council Announces May Meeting

BOISE, Idaho (May 21, 2021) — The Idaho Economic Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, May 27, at 2:00 p.m. (MST) to review one Tax Reimbursement Incentive. The council will also review one Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application.

The public is encouraged to participate remotely or attend in person.  The meeting will be held in the JR Williams Building, East Conference Room, located at 700 W. State Street in Boise. Due to limited seating capacity and adherence to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited in-person seating available to the public.

The Idaho Economic Advisory Council advises the Governor and Idaho Commerce on goals and objectives that further economic development within the state. The council makes recommendations to the Governor on applications for the Tax Reimbursement Incentive (TRI), block grant funding and reviews industrial revenue bond allocations. Additionally, council members advise their regions on economic development opportunities and represent their interests to state government.
