Idaho Economic Advisory Council Announces August Meeting
BOISE, Idaho (August 20, 2021) — The Idaho Economic Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, August 26, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. MT to vote for a new chair and vice chair.
The council will review two Tax Reimbursement Incentive (TRI) material changes and hear updates on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The council will also hear from the Idaho Commerce Deputy Attorney General regarding council governance, conflicts of interest, open meeting laws, confidentiality, public records requests and executive sessions.
The public is encouraged to participate remotely or attend in person. The meeting will be held in the Clearwater Conference room in the JR Williams Building at 700 W. State Street Boise, Idaho 83702. Due to limited seating capacity and adherence to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited in-person seating available to the public

The Idaho Economic Advisory Council advises the Governor and Idaho Commerce on goals and objectives that further economic development within the state. The council makes recommendations to the Governor on applications for the Tax Reimbursement Incentive (TRI), block grant funding, and advises their regions on economic development opportunities and represents their interests to state government.
