Visit Idaho’s The 3100™ Wins Emmy Award
Docuseries highlighting Idaho’s whitewater rivers earns top honor from the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences
BOISE, Idaho (May 31, 2026) — Visit Idaho’s The 3100™ has officially earned an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Northwest Chapter, winning in the Branded Content – Long Form Content category. The award was presented during the Northwest Regional Emmy Awards on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Seattle, Washington.
The win marks the first Emmy for Visit Idaho, elevating Idaho’s reputation as a premier travel destination and storyteller.
Named for Idaho’s 3,100 miles of navigable whitewater — more than any other state in the Lower 48 — “The 3100” is a six-part documentary series produced by Visit Idaho and filmed by Idaho-based production company Fisher Creative. The series takes viewers through some of Idaho’s most beloved and infamous whitewater rivers including the Bruneau, Lochsa, Payette, Salmon, Selway, Snake and St. Joe rivers, and provides a unique look at these wild places and the guides and outfitters who have been transformed by these experiences.
“This Emmy win is an incredible honor for everyone involved in bringing ‘The 3100’ to life,” said Natalie Jushinski, Visit Idaho Tourism Manager. “The series was created to share Idaho’s unmatched whitewater experiences and the people behind them, and we’re thrilled to see those stories recognized on such a prestigious stage.”
The series has resonated with audiences for its cinematic storytelling and authentic portrayal of Idaho’s river culture, featuring the voices of guides and outfitters who have dedicated their lives to Idaho’s whitewater rivers. The series is streaming on Visit Idaho’s YouTube channel and to date has amassed 10 million views and more than 450,000 hours of watch time.
