Visit Idaho’s The 3100™ Earns Emmy Nomination
Docuseries showcasing Idaho’s whitewater rivers gains prestigious recognition
BOISE, Idaho (April, 22 2026) — Visit Idaho’s The 3100™ film project continues its award-winning momentum, with the six-part docuseries earning an Emmy nomination from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Northwest Chapter in the Branded Content – Long Form Content category. This nomination through the Northwest chapter recognizes outstanding television and media work across a five-state region and is a first-ever nomination for Visit Idaho. The Northwest Regional Emmy winners are announced on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Seattle, Washington.
“The 3100” is named for Idaho’s 3,100 miles of navigable whitewater, more than any other state in the Lower 48 can claim. This one-of-a-kind whitewater documentary project is produced by Visit Idaho and filmed by Idaho-based production company Fisher Creative. The series navigates the Bruneau, Lochsa, Payette, Salmon, Selway, Snake and St. Joe rivers through the outfitters and communities they define.
“This nomination is an incredible honor and a testament to the power of storytelling around Idaho’s whitewater,” said Natalie Jushinski, Tourism Manager for Visit Idaho. “‘The 3100’ not only showcases the breathtaking beauty of our rivers but also connects viewers to the adventure and spirit that make Idaho such a unique destination.”
Outfitters, guides and local communities who live and breathe Idaho’s rivers serve as the heart of the project, bringing authenticity and depth to the narrative.
“We spent weeks in some of Idaho’s most remote river canyons capturing stories from guides and outfitters who’ve dedicated their lives to these waterways. To see that work reach millions of viewers and now earn an Emmy nomination is incredibly rewarding. It started with Visit Idaho’s willingness to do something different, and we’re proud to have been the team they trusted to bring it to life,” said Mark Fisher, Founder and CEO of Fisher Creative.
As the project continues to gain national and international attention, “The 3100” further cements Idaho’s reputation as a premier whitewater destination and a leader in outdoor storytelling.
