Idaho Commerce to attend POWER-GEN International trade show with five Idaho companies

BOISE, Idaho (November 26, 2018)—Idaho Commerce and five Idaho-based companies will attend the POWER-GEN International trade show December 4-6 in Orlando, Florida.

POWER-GEN is the largest power generation event in the world, with attendance from over 100 countries, 1,400 exhibitors and more than 20,000 industry leaders, researchers and customers. The show is estimated to generate $225,000 of revenue for Idaho companies over a one-year period.

“Attending POWER-GEN is a tremendous opportunity for us as we continue to showcase and promote Idaho’s growing energy industry,” said Idaho Commerce Director Bobbi-Jo Meuleman. “We look forward to sharing information about Idaho’s focus on energy innovation and establishing new partnerships and opportunities for Idaho businesses as a result of our time at the trade show.”

Idaho companies attending POWER-GEN

  • EcoAnalysts, Inc.
    The EcoAnalysts, Inc. staff of over 80 scientists and technicians provide ecology and natural resource consulting and services. This includes ecological field sampling, environmental site assessment surveys, laboratory analytical support, GIS and analysis of complex environmental data.
  • Inergy Solar
    Inergy Solar uses renewable energy technology to power essential electronics for consumers in blackout and off-grid scenarios across the world. Their small, lightweight solutions are powerful, portable and a great solution for home or emergency backup power.
  • Melni LLC
    Melni LLC specializes in how electrical connections are made. Their patented spiral technology is used in a revolutionary line of direct burial and submersible butt splices. Additional applications of the technology are under development.
  • Precision Energy Services, Inc.
    PES is a Biomass Energy Systems Company with more than 25 years of experience designing and providing energy systems using industrial waste fuels including plastics, biomass and sludges, to produce steam for industrial use and electrical power.
  • Premier Technology, Inc.
    Premier Technology, Inc. supplies custom-fabricated equipment using their experience in both government and commercial sectors. They have successfully executed contracts with utilities and prime contractors across the United States and globally.

This event has been made possible by the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP), funded in part by a grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Idaho Pavilion will be located at space #2578.
