On May 14, “The 3100” feature documentary premiered to a full house at Boise’s Egyptian Theatre. This event was attended by over 700 whitewater industry representatives and businesses, tourism industry stakeholders, Visit Idaho and Idaho Commerce staff and the public.
With more navigable whitewater miles than any other state in the Lower 48, Visit Idaho is making waves this summer with “The 3100”—a new feature-length documentary and six-part docuseries. The film project gives viewers a front-row seat to the power, beauty, cultural significance, and transformative qualities of the rivers while also offering an intimate look at the people and places shaped by these wild waterways.
Starting on May 21 and continuing through the month of June, Visit Idaho will release episodes on an aptly-named “Whitewater Wednesday” weekly schedule.
