The City of McCammon recently completed their new fire station with the help of $500,000 in CDBG funding and $75,000 in RCIF funding, among others.

The project, which had been in the works for more than five years, finally came to fruition earlier this year. To celebrate, the city held a ribbon cutting on May 9th and enjoyed a phenomenal turnout with community members and speakers from McCammon and Bannock County.

McCammon welcomed those in attendance to tour the new facility and enjoy refreshments. In addition to six large bays for fire trucks and living quarters for EMS staff, the facility will also provide multipurpose community gathering spaces and a substation for the Bannock County Sherriff’s office.
