The Governor appointments an eight-member advisory board--the Idaho Travel Council--as proscribed in Idaho Code section 67-4712: Appointment of [Idaho Travel Council] Members to provide oversight of the Division of Tourism. Idaho Code section 67-4713: Member Qualifications, Term of Office, and Conflict of Interest details the qulifications of the members.

You are also encouraged to discuss your interest with current Council members. Applications for serving on the Council can be obtained from the Governor's Idaho State Boards and Commissions website.
