Idaho's Science & Technology Strategic Plan
In 2000, the Battelle Energy Alliance assisted the Idaho Science & Technology Advisory Council in developing the Idaho Science & Technology Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan identified 6 strategies and 26 action items for the effective development of Idaho’s science & technology industry. Additional studies were conducted and in 2004 the Strategic Plan was updated PDF versions of the most current strategic plan are available below.
A Vision For Idaho
Idaho has and is recognized for having a vibrant technology-based economy that provides employment opportunities and high wage jobs for its citizens. Increased emphasis on the application and use of science and technology in Idaho will continue to spawn new companies and industries, while contributing to the global competitiveness of its traditional industries.

6. Establish a national and international image for Idaho as a leading technology center.
