Program Partners

While the Idaho SBIR Program is operated by the Idaho Department of Commerce, Commercial Innovation Divison, a number of other municipal, regional, state, federal, non-profit and private organizations make up Idaho’s network of SBIR program service providers, many of which are listed in the Idaho SBIR Program's Service & Assistance Providers Directory (PDF, 101K).

Direct program support is provided by Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho’s Small Business Development Centers, and Idaho’s four regional TechConnect offices – TechConnect East (Idaho Falls), TechConnect North (Post Falls), TechConnect South (Jerome) and TechConnect West (Nampa).

Additional support is provided by TechHelp, Idaho’s network of colleges and universities, regional economic development professionals, and by a number of other public and private-sector organizations. Regardless of where you are located in the state, the Idaho SBIR Program can provide you with assistance and connect you to local resources and partners.

It should be noted that a number of these program partners provide business development support that is much wider in scope than the SBIR/STTR programs. If the SBIR/STTR programs are not right for you, then chances are that one of these partners can assist you in other areas or through other programs to help your business grow and succeed.
