Seeks Nominees for Recreation and Tourism Award
Lifetime Achievement Award winner will be selected by the Governor.
Idaho – February 20, 2013 – Nominations
are now open for outstanding lifetime achievement in the fields of Idaho recreation
and tourism. A selection will be made by
Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter for an individual who has made significant
contributions to developing, managing or conserving Idaho’s recreation
resources, or developing, managing or promoting tourism in Idaho. The award will
be presented in May in conjunction with the Idaho State Conference on Recreation and Tourism.
annual conference is sponsored by a consortium of state and federal agencies to
provide an industry forum for public, private and non-profit travel
professionals throughout Idaho. This year’s conference will be held May 7-9 at
the Shilo Inn Suites in Idaho Falls.
