Embrace Positive Change at the 14th Annual Sun Valley Wellness Festival

Spring is a time for new beginnings and there is no better place to renew your body and spirit than in Sun Valley, Idaho this Memorial Day weekend, at the 14th annual Sun Valley Wellness Festival, known as one of the premier festivals of its kind in the US. The three day celebration, held at the famous Sun Valley Resort May 27-30, will focus on the theme of Bridging Science and Spirituality, and will include more than 30 presentations and workshops addressing various modalities of body, mind, and spirit wellness, and a new Wellness for the Next Generation educational tracts just for parents and for children.

Leading off the long list of impressive, nationally-renowned speakers is keynoter Gregg Braden, bestselling author and scientist, presenting “Deep Truth: Igniting The Memory of Our Origin, History, Destiny and Fate”.     Other top speakers include visionary artist Alex Grey, author and humanitarian Father Gregory Boyle, actor activist Christopher Kennedy Lawford, Public Radio host and author Dr. Zorba Paster, Tenzin Priyadarshi, the Director of the Dalai Lama Center of Ethics and Transformative Values at M.I.T., as well as yoga master Saul David Raye, who is well known for his empowering and transformational approach to yoga, healing, and spirituality.  These just a few of the over 30 renowned speakers who will share their knowledge over the festival weekend through presentations and workshops.   There will also be new programs on Wellness for the Next Generation specifically for parents and children.

In addition to the exceptional line up of speakers and workshops, the Sun Valley Wellness Festival will offer a Movement Studio with a variety of ongoing classes, including yoga, belly dancing, Crossfit, Zumba and others taught by several outstanding teachers.  The Wellness Expo runs all weekend and features vendors selling wonderful products from healthy chocolate to beautiful clothing to jewelry and health products.  In the Hands-On-Hall visitors can get a massage, reflexology, have a reading, or try a henna tattoo. 

And of course the Sun Valley area, set in the spectacular Idaho Rockies, is full of opportunities for outdoor recreating including hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, golf and more.  In addition, the community has a vibrant arts and cultural scene that is innovative and world-class.
