Commerce Takes The Gold For Marketing Campaign

Idaho’s “Just Make the Shift” campaign, that seeks to lure businesses from neighboring states, has been named among the top marketing campaigns in the world.
The campaign, developed by the Idaho Department of Commerce and created by Drake-Cooper Advertising in Boise, was named a “Gold Winner” in the MarCom Awards, produced by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals.
The campaign consisted of the development of a web site -- www.justmaketheshift.com – along with direct mailing pieces to businesses in Oregon and Washington. The Idaho Department of Commerce developed the campaign to lure neighboring states’ companies across the border.
The MarCom competition is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. More than 5,000 entries were received from the United States and several foreign countries.
