Idaho Travel Council to Meet March 15 for Webcast Meeting

Idaho Travel Council will hold its annual spring meeting as a call-in conference call/webcast meeting on Monday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. hosted by the Idaho Department of Commerce, Division of Tourism Development.

The agenda on Monday includes a presentation by the Idaho Division of Tourism’s advertising agency, Drake Cooper, with an update on The Great Idaho Getaway Promotion, discussion on the Idaho Travel Guide and a preliminary presentation of the FY11 plan. Other agenda items include a director’s update, budget review and the upcoming Idaho Conference on Recreation & Tourism (ICORT). 

The public is invited to join in the webinar either at the Department of Commerce office at 700 W. State Street in Boise or by visiting the link: https://www.nefsis.com/join.html?dn=ITC0310. Once here, please install the software that comes up (Nefsis) to be joined to the conference.  MACs will only work using “Parallels”. The public will only be allowed to listen and watch.

Growing Idaho’s economy by increasing visitor expenditures throughout the state is the goal of the Idaho Travel Council and the Tourism Development Division.

The Idaho Travel Council is an eight-member, private-sector advisory board appointed by the Governor.
