Idaho Golf Trail Adds Three New Courses

Boise, Idaho (February 10, 2010)-The Idaho Division of Tourism has announced the addition of an Eastern Loop to the Idaho Golf Trail, giving a total of four loops throughout the state.

The new Eastern loop encompasses three spectacular Idaho courses: Headwaters Golf Club at Teton Springs Lodge and Spa and Teton Reserve Golf Course in Victor along with Pinecrest Golf Course in Idaho Falls.

The Idaho Golf Trail is a compilation of the most unique courses in the state for destination golfers, bundled with great lodging options through InIdaho.com. It combines 14 of Idaho's best courses with many scenic byways, rivers and lakes to explore and admire. Scattered throughout the state, each course offers a great golfing experience, both on the challenging courses and with the luxurious resort accommodations.

Existing loops include the Northern, Central and Southern Loops which consist of:

Northern- Stoneridge, Circling Raven Golf Club, Coeur d’Alene Resort, University of Idaho Golf Course

Central-Whitetail Golf Course, MeadowCreek Golf Resort, Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort, Jug Mountain Ranch

Southern-Falcon Crest Golf Club, Banbury Golf Club, Sun Valley Resort

The addition of the new loop will help to enhance Idaho’s image as a great vacation destination and extraordinary golf opportunities.
