Division of International Business
Internship - Year Round
Idaho Commerce is looking for Junior or Senior level International Business, Foreign Language, Marketing, International Studies major (or a related field of study) who will work within the International Business Division on various projects to support the Divisions efforts of providing services for Idaho companies.
Desired Experience/Knowledge/Interest:
- Basic computer skills.
- General business/marketing awareness and an interest in international business.
- Good communication skills on the telephone and excellent customer service.
Specific Projects:

Assist in the preparations for upcoming international Trade Promotional Events.
- Responsible for assisting with seminars, publications, and other International Projects geared toward helping companies market and export their products and services.
- Work with the Boise Branch Office Chief for the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service (US & FCS) Federal Export Programs to become familiar with the US & FCS services.
- Assist in making arrangements, scheduling business calls and developing itineraries for International Visitors from foreign government offices and businesses.

Salary: $8.00 per hour.
Up to 19 hours per week during the school year. 40 hours during the summer.
3 interns needed: one during fall semester, one during spring semester, and one during summer.
